Q. What is the Music Discovery Network Affiliate Program?
A. If you have a web site, the MDN Affiliate Program is a way for you to earn cash, introduce your visitors to new music and support independent music and musicians. The MDN Affiliate Program compensates affiliates 20% of qualifying sales. It's simple. Signup Today.
Q. Is there any cost to join?
A. There is absolutely no cost to become a MDN Affiliate.
Q. How old must I be to join?
A. At least 18 years old.
Q. How do I add links?
A. Once you signup for the Affiliate Program, you will receive access to the Member Lounge. There you will have access to banners and text links that you may install on your web site.
Q. How many links can I have?
A. You can have as many as you wish, both text and banners.
Q. What if I have multiple web sites?
A. You may link from any number of sites you wish, as long as we have approved each. Signup only allows you to report one site, if you wish to report others, email us at: aimcmc@aol.com. All of your sites will all be under one account.
Q. How do I check the status of my account?
A. Once you signup, you will receive access to the Member Lounge. You can check your clickthrough, sales and payment status there. You can also change your profile and more.
Q. When do I get paid?
A. Approximately 30 days following the end of each calendar quarter, we will send you a check for the referral fees earned. However, if the referral fees payable to you for any calendar quarter are less than $25 ($100 for Affiliates from Foreign Countries), we will hold payment until the total amount due is at least $25 ($100 Foreign).
Q. Are there any restrictions?
A. There are certain sites that we do not allow. We may reject your application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your site is unsuitable for the Program. Unsuitable sites include, but are not limited to, those that: promote sexually explicit materials and activities; promote violence; promote illegal activities; promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age; violate intellectual property rights.
Q. Do I need to agree to any terms?
A. Yes you must. Although there is nothing for you to sign, you must agree to the terms of our Agreement before joining the Program. To see the agreement, click here.
