Our Thoughts
....for, by and because of the People
Patricia Jaber, Sugar Land, TX
I am Thomas Jaber's daughter, and a member of the Wesley Choir group that had the privilege of working with Anita and Robbie on this project. I found the whole experience to be so moving, inspiring, and meaningful. The song is so beautiful, and I was so honored to be a part of its production. I would like to once again praise Anita for the wonderful piece of art she has created to contribute to so many's memory. Thanks again.

The September 11th tragedy has had a profound effect on all Americans. Not only do we turn to family and friends for comfort but we also turn to music. Anita Kruse has asked the questions that we all are asking; and in her lovely and unique style, she has captured our thoughts, she has comforted us and given us hope for the future. Thank you Anita for believing in the human race, the American people, our children and our future.

I've worked with Anita Kruse now for about five or more albums of songs. It is a real pleasure to work with someone who really cares about other people. She is what she says. She and her husband Robbie make a wonderful team, and I look forward to the next project. More people need to hear her.
Trish Morille, Houston, TX
All of us have been changed by the events that rocked our world September 11. We hold our children a little closer, we linger over goodbyes like never before, we count our blessings. Today, we are called to make sense from senseless events, and it is in my children and children everywhere that I see our hope. Through music, we can raise one voice, one heart full of hope, singing for a brighter, more peaceful world, and knowing that love is greater than all of this. To be a part of this incredible song, has been a life-change too. It is a reminder that even as we stuggle to understand - there is a place in each of us where music lives, echoing a song of hope for all of us to embrace. Luke Morille, Age 4 says, "You have to have wings to fly to the moon." Katherine Morille, age 8, youth choir, reflects - click here.

After viewing the numbing and moving documentary "9/11" and revisiting all of the horror (and heroics!) of that event, I came downstairs and found my husband holding our two little girls, ages 2 and 4, closely, his head buried in their hair. Our children are our greatest treasure and hope for all that is good and pure in this world. In memory of all of those children who lost parents on Sept. 11, as well as the children on the airplanes and the unborn children who perished, let us offer a prayer of "love and light." Thank you, Anita and friends, for this moving gift of music and love.

I lost my cousin in the World Trade Center on 9/11. I heard the song demo on the site. I just want to personally say thank you to all the people who worked on it. It's a beautiful song, and everyone sounds great. I'm also proud of all the kids. I have a 10 year old daughter who would love to be in a choir. My cousin was very musical, and he was a good male role model for her. Thank you again, I honestly really appreciate it. -Hugs, Ava

Your song is just beautiful!!! I was one of four classmates from Tivy High who were priviledged to visit with your Mom and enjoy the wonderful lunch she did for us on Sunday, August 1. She also gave us your cd "If We Can Fly to the Moon." I have made a donation directly to The Todd M. Beamer Foundation. What a wonderful thing you are doing! God bless you and all involved!!
With Tivy love, Mary Nell Bruns Kempera
