Fremont John ... Enhanced Profile

Fremont John has been playing the resort towns along the west coast of Michigan for many years developing a loyal fan base there. These days, he is a regular performer at The Bull & Whistle and Garden of Eden bars in Key West, Florida. In late May '99, John was interviewed in "Paradise This Week," a Key West entertainment weekly publication. The article was headlined "Acoustic Thunder, No Bull". The nickname was inspired by the energy and power John puts into his performance. During summer, 1999 John went back to Michigan where he played his old haunts. In anticipation of an upcoming Indie CD release, he started a promotional mailing list and signed up over 1000 fans! In August, the recording of tracks for the CD, "Acoustic Thunder" was completed and the final product was released in late November, 1999. John's program includes several of his original songs along with a wide range of blues and '60s & '70s classic rock cover tunes.
