Point Of View is high energy, hard rocking alternative pop inspired by classic rock. The core sound consists of vocals surrounded by crunching electric guitars, supported by bass guitar and driven by powerful drum sounds. Most tunes include furious rapid-fire guitar solos. The precise impact of this music is sweetened with harmony vocals. Occasionally the tunes are embellished with orchestral sounds, synthesizers, acoustic guitars and other instruments. The lyrics encourage examining beliefs, discovering misperceptions and breaking free from conventional limitations.

Gordon Lee Weaver is a veteran guitarist, songwriter and vocalist of many Oregon based bands during the late '70s and early '80s. In '86 Gordon relocated to California and put together a home studio with the goal of creating the sound and feel of a complete rock band.

In '94 Gordon Lee Weaver released his debut CD entitled simply Gordon Lee Weaver. This CD is still available from CMC and information can be found here in our MusicDiscoveries.com. Over the last 6 years Gordon has been perfecting his recording and performing skills in order to create his latest CD, Point of View.
