Doug Wyatt ... Enhanced Profile

Doug Wyatt, a native of Ithaca, New York, has been playing piano since he could reach the keys, and working with synthesizers for almost twenty-five years. He creates electronic soundscapes, using innovative sound design, elements of jazz improvisation, and other diverse influences. Wyatt has been collaborating with other musicians, composing, performing and recording original music since 1979. He joined the avante-rock group Red Letter in 1992, performed extensively with them, and contributed to the group's 1995 CD "True North." He also appears on Red Letter guitarist Robby Aceto's critically-acclaimed 1996 release on Alchemy Records, "Code."
